A safe water supply is most essential for healthy livestock and poultry. Contaminated water can affect growth, reproduction and also productivity of animals. So for these reasons, farm water supply should be protected against contamination from bacteria, nitrates, sulfates and pesticides.
HI-AQUAPUR, a superior mix of different acids, is the ideal water supplementation to help the farmer to a guaranteed supply of microbiological ideal water.
Besides having clean water, one should ensure that the watering system’s interior walls and drinkers are clean and bio-film free. Bio-films are a complex matrix of bacteria, fungi and algae bound together in a sticky gel of polysaccharide and other organic contaminants attached to the surface. Bio-films harbor harmful micro-organisms such as Campylobacter, Listeria, Salmonella, E. Colli, Pseudomonas and Staphylococcus. Bio-film provide bacteria and algae with additional protection from chemical assaults.
